The first one: “Are you so focused on day-to-day newsroom survival that you’ve come to see diversity as a luxury, not a necessity?” Going through the list can be an effective litmus test for how much you or newsroom leaders value diversity, and how much you’re willing to do about it. It’s a great tool to revisit over time as well.
